Digital Art Objects of Charles Csuri
:: 10.2005
Computer Generated Sculpture:
In 1967, Csuri employed the then emerging technology of numerically controlled milling to create
one of the first computer generated sculptures.
Ceramic Art Tiles:
Many of Csuri's digital art images have been produced as 12"X12" ceramic art tiles. These are dye sublimated
art tiles where the inks are chemically fused with the ceramic material making them more durable than
a surface dye. Csuri's has used his art tiles in the production of wall art and custom furniture.
Limited Edition Giclee Prints:
Csuri's 12,000 to 16,000 line resolution images are currently printed on heavy acid free 100%
cotton canvas. Pigmented inks are used in the giclee printing process that will last over two hundred
years, outlasting acrylic paints. Each piece is further protected with a heavy UV varnish.
