The color in this image works best on a monitor because of the nature of projected light. A combination of 3d software lighting models and the display itself gives the color a sense of life. The color seems to have an ambient quality. I find when I make a digital print the color becomes more opaque and flat. Much of its vitality is lost.

Large flat screen display technology is far better than any printing technology we have today. Soon there will be more advances with large flat screens. Improvements in color quality, resolution and scale. This kind of art should be displayed in homes on high resolution TV’s and not in museums. How about a wall size display system. Maybe a dozen or more in the house.
